Gainax Working On Toho Bank Advertisements


Can we call this a cruel angel’s (banking) thesis?

Studio Gainax recently partnered with Japan’s Toho bank to produce a series of online advertisements. The series, titled Mirai e no kakehashi ~ Bridge for Future, is a series of 30-second shorts that feature character designs by Evangelion character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto.

The series revolves around two bank employees: The energetic Sayaka Hinata, who’s voiced by Sarah Emi Bridcutt, and her straight-man boss Mitsuya (played by Tomokazu Sugita).

The first short hit the web on October 1, which you can check out below:

Episode 2 is currently slated for a December 1 release. All six ads will be available via Toho Bank’s website.
