Earlier today, the official website for the Sakura Wars (2019) The Stage stage shows announced that the show’s run was cancelled, due to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak. In a printed notice, the site apologizes for the delays, and states that they will announce details on refunds via the site at a later date.
Sakura Wars (2019) The Stage was originally slated to run from March 5 – 8 at Akasaka’s Sogetsu Hall. Eight shows were planned for the period.
The confirmed voice cast included:
- Sakura Amamiya: Yuna Sekine
- Hatsuho Shinonome: Rina Takahashi
- Azami Mochizuki: Yui Kanchiku
- Anastasia: Palma Juri Hirayu
- Claris: Natsume Oki
- Sumire Kanzaki: Atsumi Katayama
- Seijuro Kamiyama: Yohei Azakami
The COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak is an ongoing viral outbreak caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The epidemic began in December 2019, with the first cases being identified in Wuhan, capital of China’s Hubei province. To date, 82,167 cases have been confirmed in more than forty countries worldwide. 2,801 deaths have been attributed to the disease, incluing 56 outside of mainland China.
