Viz Media Previews Sailor Moon Crystal Dub In New Teaser

Earlier today, Viz Media released a new trailer for the first Sailor Moon Crystal Blu-Ray set. The two-minute teaser offer a brief sample of the show’s English dub.

The first Sailor Moon Crystal set will be released in a Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Pack, as well as a standard DVD set. The 14-episode set will hit retailers on August 16 with a retail price of $69.99 for the Blu-Ray edition and $39.99 for the DVD.

Extra features in the combo pack include a chipboard box, a full-color art booklet, and a set of art cards.

Sailor Moon Crystal debuted on Japanese streaming service NicoNico in July 2014. During its initial run, new episodes aired on the first and third Saturdays of each month. The title’s TV broadcast wrapped up on January 10, which was followed directly by the reveal for the show’s third sesaon.

Sailor Moon Crystal Season 3 began on April 4. The series covers the “Death Busters” arc of the manga, and introduces the Outer Guardians.
