This work by a late author is getting a grand tribute.
The second volume of the late Tomohiro Matsu and illustrator Kantoku’s Märchen Mädchen (Fairy Tale Girls) light novels features an announcement stating that the title will receive manga and anime adaptations. As of press time, details on either adaptation are still unknown.
Märchen Mädchen is based on a title that Matsu wrote over the course of three years before he passed away. The first novel, which is still attributed to him, hit stores on February 24.
Two other novels by Matsu, Mayoi Neko Overrun! and Listen to Me, Girls. I Am Your Father! both received anime adaptations. He also co-wrote the story concepts for Ixion Saga DT and handled series composition on Queen’s Blade: The Exiled Virgin.
Sadly, Matsu passed away last spring.
