FUNimation Adds Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F', Plans Theatrical Run

FUNimation rocks the dragon again!

Earlier today, the company announced that they acquired the theatrical, video, on-demand, and broadcast rights for Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’. The film, which hits Japanese theaters on April 18, is the nineteenth film in the franchise.

In North America, FUNimation is teaming up with Toei Animation and Fox for a North American première. The film will make its American début on April 11, one week before the Japanese opening (excluding pre-screen events). It will be shown at Los Angeles’s Egyptian Theatre in subtitled format, with ticket sales opening today.

Tickets to the première of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ will be available via FUNimation’s Dragon Ball Z website while supplies last.
