Lantis Streams Love Live! Movie Insert Song Angelic Angel


If you’re like me, the wait for the western release of Love Live! The School Idol Movie seems like an eternity. The film, which opened last weekend, broke box office records as it took in $3.42 million on 252,000 ticket sales.

On July 1, insert songs Angelic Angel and Hello, by counting the stars, both performed by Rin, Maki, and Hanayo, will go on sale. To promote the release, Lantis released the full-cast version of Angelic Angel in its entirety to the company’s YouTube channel.

two other singles will be released going forward:

  • 7/8/2015: Sunny Day Song & ?←Heartbeat, performed by Eli, Nozomi, and Nico
  • 7/15/2015: Servants of the Light & Future Style, performed by Honoka, Umi, and Kotori

Love Live! The School Idol Movie opens in North America in September.
