It looks like Migi’s looking to infect the Toonami airwaves this October!
Earlier today, Sentai Filmworks announced that Parasyte -the maxim- will air on Adult Swim’s Toonami block. The series will begin airing in October, though a specific première date is still up in the air.
Parasyte -the maxim-, which is based on Hitoshi Iwaaki’s Parasyte manga, originally aired in the fall 2014 anime season. The 24-episode series was directed by Kenichi Shimizu and animated by Madhouse.
Sentai Filmworks announced that they licensed the series for the Americas and the UK in March. This was followed by a June reveal that the company acquired master merchandising rights, as well.
