John Gremillion Is D In Vampire Hunter D Dub

Visitors from the past shall return to the darkness once they came.

Earlier today, Sentai Filmworks unveiled the third member of its upcoming Vampire Hunter D dub. The role of the titular vampire hunter, D, will be filled by John Gremillion (Eden of the East, One Piece).

Vampire Hunter D is based on Hideyuki Kikuchi’s novel series of the same name. The OVA, which hit Japanese retailers in 1985, was directed by Toyoo Ashida and animated by Ashi Productions. Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano provided the character designs.

Sentai Filmworks will release Vampire Hunter D on DVD and Blu-Ray on August 25. The feature was originally released in North America on VHS and DVD by Urban Vision.

Previously, Sentai revealed that David Wald will play Count Magnus and Luci Christian will portray Doris Lang. The announcement videos for both roles are below:
