Toonami Airs Akame ga Kill! Promo


Next week, Akame ga Kill! hits Adult Swim’s Toonami block. To promote the big première, the network aired an extended promotional teaser during last night’s broadcast.

Toonami first announced that Akame ga Kill! would join the block in May. The company announced that both Michiko and Hatchin and Akame ga Kill! would join the lineup at their Momocon panel. Michiko and Hatchin was the first to air, with a June 20 première date.

Sentai Filmworks took to Twitter to confirm the news shortly afterwards:

Akame ga Kill! aired in Japan during the summer 2014 season, and ran for a total of 24 episodes. Tomoki Kobayashi helmed the series, while studio White Fox produced the animation.
