FUNimation Unveils Daimidaler Dub Cast (NSFW)

Daimdaler Key Visual 001 - 20151007It’s time to fight back against the Penguin Empire, once again!

Earlier today, FUNimation revealed their English dub cast for Daimidaler the Sound Robot. The series will star the following:

  • Kouichi: Matt Mercer
  • Kyoko: Emily Neves
  • Kiriko: Cherami Leigh
  • Shouma: Todd Haberkorn
  • Matayoshi: J. Michael Tatum
  • Penguin Emperor…: Patrick Seitz
  • Ritz: Tessa Ellory

Clifford Chapin will direct the dub, while John Burgmeier serves as head writer on the production.

FUNimation also published a two-minute dub teaser to promote the upcoming Blu-Ray release. As a warning, the trailer is definitely not safe for work!

Daimidaler the Sound Robot is based on Asaki Nakama’s manga series of the same name. High School D x D director Tetsuya Yanagisawa helmed the series at studio TNK, while Junji Goto (High School D x D) provided character designs. FUNimation streamed episodes of the show as they aired during the Spring 2014 season.

FUNimation describes the series as follows:

The creators of High School DxD bring you a ridiculously raunchy romp through a world filled with mechs powered by perversion! The earth is under attack by the alien Penguin Empire and only heroes able to produce Hi-Ero particles need apply. Piloting the Daimidaler the Sound Robot mechs are master pervert Kouichi with his take-no-prisoners libido and Kiriko, a girl who can level cities just by thinking of her boyfriend. It’s up to them to dodge the massive front tails of the filthy penguin commandos and go toe to toe with rival mechs powered by a girl who loves penguins a little too much. Experience an overflow of Hi-Ero power with brave Daimidaler the Sound Robot!
