The trailer is identical to the Japanese trailer, which Fuji TV released in July.

Eiga Chibi Maruko-chan is the first new anime film to be added to the franchise in 23 years. The feature, which hits theaters on December 23, will commemorate the anime series’ 25th broadcast anniversary. Chibi Maruko-chan TV director Jun Takagi will direct the feature at Nippon Animation and Fuji TV. Series creator Momoko Sakura will provide the project’s script.
