Shimoneta Actress Miyu Matsuki Passes Away

Yesterday, talent agency 81 Produce revealed that voice actress Miyu Matsuki passed away on October 27. She was 38.

In July, Matsuki announced that she would take a break from acting to focus on getting treatment for pneumonia. At the time, she mentioned that she had been suffering from a fever since the start of the year, and only found out she that she had pneumonia after repeated check-ups at the hospital.

Matsuki’s notable roles include:

Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!: Ku-ko
Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya: Magical Sapphire
Shimoneta: A Boring World Where The Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn’t Exist: Anna Nishikinomiya
Sayonara, Zetsubou-sensei: Harumi Fujiyoshi

In May, GA Bunko confirmed that Matsuki would play Charlotte Dimandias in a Hundred anime adaptation.

We’d like to extend our deepest condolences to Matsuki’s family and friends.
