Second Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions Trailer Released

Yesterday, the official Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions website started streaming a new teaser for the film. The one-minute teaser gives a brief glimpse at Blue Eyes White Dragon in action, while promoting the various bonuses that will be given to fans who see the film in theaters.

Satoshi Kuwahara (Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal) is directing Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions at Studio Dice. Yu-Gi-Oh! manga creator Kazuki Takahashi is deep in the weeds on the project, acting as character designer, script writer, and chief production supervisor.

The film hits Japanese theaters on April 23, 2016. Advance ticket sales will kicked off earlier today. The first 200,000 fans who pre-order tickets will receive a limited-edition Blue Eyes White Dragon card. A gift will also be give during the second early sales round, which kicks off on March 3.

Fans who see the film during its first four weeks will receive cards, as well:

  • April 23-29: Gandora X the Dragon of Destruction card
  • April 30-May 6: Lord Gaia the Fierce Knight card
  • May 7-13: Lemon Magician Girl card
  • May 14-20: Secret Card

A new poster visual was released last night, which featured a tagline of “Fight, for what you believe in.”
