Whether you call it soccer or football, you’re right!
Earlier today, the main staff for the anime adaptation of Tsuyoshi Yasuda’s Days manga was officially unveiled. The series will be helmed by Kōnosuke Uda, who directed the first 278 episodes of One Piece, at MAPPA. Kazuto Nakazawa (House of Five Leaves, Samurai Champloo) was tasked with character designs, while Yoshihiro Ike (Tiger & Bunny) will produce the soundtrack.
The rest of the confirmed staff includes:
- Sound Director: Masafumi Mima (Kuroko’s Basketball)
- Sound Production: Techno Sound
- Music Production: Pony Canyon
Days is a slice-of-life comedy series by Tsuyoshi Yasuda. The ongoing series kicked off in the pages of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine on July 17, 2013. Since its début, the series has gone on to span 12 collected volumes.
