Platinum End Visual 001 - 20151003In a world where the real demons are the angels, what are the real saints?

Viz Media announced that they will release Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Ohba’s Platinum End in compiled volumes. The first volume is slated to hit retailers this fall.

Platinum End launched last November in Shueisha’s Jump SQ magazine. Since its début, Viz Media has been selling the chapters as they’re published in digital format for $0.99 each.

Viz Media describes the series as follows:

Dive into the brand new series by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, the legendary manga duo that created DEATH NOTE. As his classmates celebrate their middle school graduation, troubled Mirai is mired in darkness. But his battle is just beginning when he receives some salvation from above in the form of an angel. Now Mirai is pitted against 12 other chosen humans in a battle in which the winner becomes the next god of the world. Mirai has an angel in his corner, but he may need to become a devil to survive.

Viz also revealed that they will continue to release their Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure “Jojonium” editions. Volume 3, which covers the Stardust Crusaders arc, will hit retailers in November. The company previously released the arc in individual volumes.

In addition, Viz Media revealed that they will release the third One Piece manga boxed set, which includes volumes 47 – 70 in October.
