Somewhere, somehow, I could make an “I’d rather be cycling” joke, here.

Earlier today, Crunchyroll announced that they added Yowamushi Pedal Re:RIDE to their digital lineup. The film is available to Premium subscribers in the following territories:

  • United States
  • Canada
  • South Africa
  • Central America
  • South America
  • The Caribbean

Free members will be able to catch the flick next week.

Yowapedia ReRide Visual 001 - 20160503

Yowamushi Pedal Re:RIDE is the first of two Yowamushi Pedal compilation films. Osamu Nabeshima (D.Gray-man, Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas) helmed the project at TMS Entertainment. Takahiko Yoshida (Welcome to the NHK, Big Windup!) provided character designs on the project, while Reiko Yoshida (Bakuman, The Cat Returns) was in charge of series composition.

Crunchyroll describes the feature as:

Onoda Sakamichi is a rather timid, anime-loving first-year student at Sohoku High School. Upon entering high school, he tried to join the anime research club, but after meeting Imaizumi Shunsuke, a renowned cyclist since middle school, and Naruko Shoukichi, who swept the Kansai cycling championship, he ended up joining the competitive cycling club.
