Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Gets New Season 2 PV & Visual


With fire in their hearts and iron in their veins, Mikazuki Augus and the Gundam Barbatos continue to fight on.

Eralier todya, the official Mobile Suit Gundam website started streaming a promotional video for the upcoming second season of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. The 90-second teaser offers a brief teaser of the events to come, set to an instrumental piece.

The teaser ends with a brief reveal of the show’s première schedule. The season will begin airing on October 2, at 5:00PM local time. 28 networks will air the series, including MBS and TBS. The series will also stream online, with ACJ blog Anime Now! confirming that the show will receive an international run.

As of press time, a specific list of overseas territories carrying the show is unknown.

Tatsuyuki Nagai (anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, My-HiME) is returning to direct the new season of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans at Sunrise. Michinori Chiba (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Mobile Suit Gundam AGE) will reprise their role as character designer on the project, while Masaru Yokoyama (Plastic Memories, Arakawa Under the Bridge) scores the soundtrack.

The remaining staff includes:

  • Original Character Design: Yū Itō

Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans‘s first season began airing on October 4, 2015. The series is currently available for streaming on several platforms, including Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Daisuki.
