It looks like the trip to Ami’s next stop has a bit further to go.
Earlier today, the official Long Riders! anime Twitter account announced that the show’s third episode will be delayed. The installment, titled The New World, was pushed back to October 29, due to irreconcilable production difficulties.

Long Riders! is based on Taishi Miyake’s manga of the same name. Tatsuya Yoshihara (Yatterman Night, Monster Musume) is helming the project at Studio Actas (Girls und Panzer), with Jiemon Futsuzawa on character design duty. Natsuko Takahashi (My Love Story!!, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0) is in charge of series composition.
Daisuki currently streams Long Riders! as part of their Fall 2016 lineup. They describe the show as:
A female college student named Ami falls in love with bicycles after a fateful encounter with one. After buying one of her own and naming it “Ponta-kun,” she realizes just how good it feels to ride a bike. However, she soon learns that cycling is not as easy of a sport as she initially thought…
