The Major’s readyu to return to the land of the rising sun for her next briefing.

Earlier today, Paramount started streaming a new promotional video. The 60-second trailer confirms the feature’s Japanese title as “Ghost in the Shell,” rather than typical Japanese title Kōkaku Kidōtai (攻殻機動隊).

Ghost in the Shell will open in Japanese theaters on April 7. The feature will hit North American theaters on March 31.

The live-action Ghost in the Shell movie was greenlit for production in January 2015. Disney originally stepped forward to produce the feature, which begins filming this year. Paramount signed on to co-produce the project in exchange for distribution rights in international markets.
