This weekend, thousands of anime fans are flocking to New Jersey for AnimeNEXT. This weekend, Studio TRIGGER are making their fourth appearance at the event, with Hiromi Wakabayashi, Shigeto Koyama, Shuhei Handa and Yo Yoshinari all in attendance.
At AnimeNEXT, the group revealed that a second season of Inferno Cop is in the works. Yes, that Inferno Cop.
Anyway, as of press time, no details have been revealed as of press time.
The original Inferno Cop anime was an original project from TRIGGER. Akira Amemiya (Ninja Slayer From Animation) directed the series, which featured scripts by Hiromi Wakabayashi (Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, Kill la Kill Episode 4).
The short-form series debuted in 2012, and spans 14 episodes.
