Earlier today, Funimation unveiled their English dub cast for Gamers!. The series will star the following:
- Keita Amano: Brandon McInnis
- Karen Tendou: Brittney Karbowski
- Tasuku Uehara: Clifford Chapin
- Aguri: Tia Ballard
- Gakuto Kase: Alejandro Saab
- Eichi Misumi: Howard Wang
- Masaya: Matt Shipman
- Mika: Megan Shipman
Kristen McGuire is directing the adaptation, which features scripts by Patrick Seitz. Nicholas Hernandez will serve as ADR Engineer, whle Adrian Cook works as Mixing Engineer for the project. As of press time, Funimation’s Gamers! dub lacks a première date.
Gamers! is based on Sekina Aoi and illustrator Saboten’s light novel series of the same name. Manabu Okamoto is directing the show at studio Pine Jam, with Tensho Sato providing character designs. Hiroki Uchida is in charge of series composition.
Funimation describes Gamers! as:
Keita Amano has always preferred the company of games over people, leading a rather lonely life. But at school he finds himself in the gaming club where every day is more interesting than the games they play! With beautiful club president Karen Tendou, testy Chiaki Hoshinomori, and the guy who claims to have it all together, Uehara Tasuku, things are sure to get a little chaotic!
