Funimation Reveals “Kino’s Journey -the Beautiful World-” Dub Cast

It’s time to hop on that old motorbike for a new look at the beautiful world around us.

Earlier today, Funimation unveiled their English dub cast for Kino’s Journey -the Beautiful World- the Animated Series. The series will star the following:

  • Kino: Lindsay Seidel
  • Hermes: Derick Snow
  • Man (Episode 1): Ian Sinclair
  • Regel (Episode 1): Garrett Schenck

Kyle Phillips is directing the adaptation, which features scripts by Aaron Dismuke. Jeremy Woods will serve as ADR Engineer, while Gino Palencia works as Mixing Engineer.

The dub for Kino’s Journey -the Beautiful World- the Animated Series launched on FunimationNow today, at 4:00PM Eastern (1:00PM Pacific).

Kino’s Journey -the Beautiful World- the Animated Series is a follow-up to 2003 anime series Kino’s Journey. Both projects adapt Keiichi Sigsawa and illustrator Kouhaku Kuroboshi’s light novel series of the same name.

Tomohisa Taniguchi is directing the project at studio Lerche, with Ryoko Amisaki (Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak High School: Future Arc, Isshoni Sleeping: Sleeping with Hinako) providing character designs. Yukie Sugawara (Overlord, Hina Logi: from Luck & Logic) is in charge of series composition. Egg Firm is attached as a producer.

Funimation describes the title as:

In an imperfect world, the stories make it beautiful. Meet Kino, a traveler exploring beyond her boundaries into unknown mystical places! With only her guns and talking motorcycle Hermes by her side, she learns about unique people and their customs through the fascinating stories they weave. But to see everything, she can only spare three days to each land before moving on to the next adventure.
