Takunomi. Anime Gets Tipsy In New Teaser Trailer


You know I’m half-expecting one of these drinking shows to simply be titled “Jell-O Shots and Sadness” one of these days.

Earlier today, the official Takunomi. (Drinking at Home.) anime website updated with a new teaser trailer, as well as the show’s core cast. We break the details down below:

Teaser Trailer

The 80-second promo introduces the major cast members, with each of the voice actors providing introductions for their character.

Cast

The core cast for Takunomi includes:

  • Michiru Amatsuki: Ayaka Imamura
  • Nao Kiriyama: Chika Anzai
  • Kae Midorikawa: Mikako Komatsu
  • Makoto Kiriyama: Maaya Uchida

Takunomi. will hit Japanese TV in 2018.

Tomoki Kobayashi (Akame ga KILL!, Seiren) is directing the project at Production IMS, with Shinpei Kobayashi (Castle Town Dandelion) providing character designs. Katsuhiko Takayama (Aldnoah.Zero, Sagrada Reset) is in charge of series composition on the title.

Other confirmed staff includes:

  • Sound Director: Takatoshi Hamano
  • Sound Production: Magic Capsule
  • Music: Masato Suzuki (MoNSTER SONIC!)
  • Music Production: Pony Canyon

Haruto Hino’s Takunomi. manga made its début on Shogakukan’s MangaONE app in August 2015. To date, four compiled volumes have been released, with the latest shipping to retailers on August 10.

The series revolves around Michiru Amazuki, a 20-year-old woman who takes up residence in Tokyo for a new job. Her home, a share house for women called “Stella House,” is inhabited by ladies of various ages and professions. While they’re all quite different on the surface, the presence of good food and great booze ensures that everything will turn out alright.
