Voice Actor Kaiji Tang to Attend Anime Boston 2018


Thankfully, we won’t need the behelit to summon this guest.

Earlier today, Anime Boston announced that voice actor Kaiji Tang will attend this year’s convention as a guest. The actor is the third western guest confirmed by the convention.

Tang has been active in the entertainment industry since 2007. In his early career, he starred in commercials for Garmin and The Discovery Channel. In 2008, Tang appeared in cult hit Zombie Strippers as a zombie.

Tang’s first anime dubbing role came in 2007, when he was cast as a member of the Computer Club in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Since then, he’s gone on to voice numerous prominent characters, including:

  • Guts (Berserk 2016)
  • Vegeta (Dragon Ball Super – Bang Zoom! Dub)
  • Eijiro Sharaku (Durarara!!)
  • Archer (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works)
  • Tsumugu Kinagase (Kill la Kill)
  • Hendrickson (The Seven Deadly Sins)

Kaiji Tang joins nine previously confirmed guests:

  • Asaka
  • FLOW
  • Greg Ayres
  • Monica Rial
  • Hideyuki Tomioka
  • Katsuyuki Sumizawa
  • Hirokatsu Kihara
  • Michihiko Suwa
