“Rokuhōdō Yotsuiro Biyori” Anime’s Opening Theme Song Announced


It appears that this inn is getting a stylish soundtrack to set the stage.

Earlier today, the official Rokuhōdō Yotsuiro Biyori anime website updated with details on the show’s opening theme song. aki will perform Sakurairo Cliché (Sakura-colored Cliché) for the show’s intro.

The song will be released as a CD single on May 2.

Rokuhōdō Yotsuiro Biyori will hit Japanese TV in April. A stage event will be held at AnimeJapan on April 24.

Tomomi Kamiya (A Good Librarian Like a Good Shepherd) was tapped to direct the project at Zexcs, with Kei Anjiki providing character designs. Deko Akao (NoragamiFlying Witch) is in charge of series composition for the title.

The previously confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Tsubaki: Daiki Yamashita
  • Gure: Daisuke Ono
  • Sui: Junichi Suwabe
  • Tokitaka: Yūichi Nakamura
  • Yakyō Higashigo: Tomoaki Maeno
  • Eisuke Kadosaki: Kousuke Toriumi
  • Kinako: Kōhei Amasaki

Yū Shimizu’s Rokuhōdō Yotsuiro Biyori manga launched in Shinchosha’s Go Go Bunch magazine in October 2013. The series currently spans seven compiled volumes, with the most recent hitting stores on November 9, 2017.

Manga resource Baka-Updates describes the series as:

At the popular Japanese-style tea house Rokuhoudou, customers can count on receiving not only excellent food and drink, but – if they wish for it – a helping hand in solving any problem that may be plaguing them. Serving in Rokuhoudou are four men who are consummate professionals in their individual fields: tea expert Sui, latte artist Gure, pâtissier Tsubaki and chef Tokitaka.
