Anime Boston 2018: Sentai Filmworks to Dub Armed Girl’s Machiavellism

I wonder if we could call this a truly Machiavellian dub?

Earlier today, Sentai Filmworks announced that they will produce an English dub for Armed Girl’s Machiavellism. As of press time, specific details have not been disclosed.

Armed Girl’s Machiavellism is based on Karuna Kanzaki and illustrator Yūya Kurokami’s manga of the same name. Hideki Tachibana (BlazBlue Alter Memory, H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~ ) was tapped to direct at Silver Link, with Shoko Takimoto (Chaos Dragon, Senran Kagura: Estival Versus – Festival Eve Full of Swimsuits) providing character designs. Kento Shimoyama (Good Luck Girl!, Servant × Service ) was in charge of series composition. Team-MAX’s Hiromi Mizutani will score the soundtrack at studio Nippon Columbia.

Sentai Filmworks describes the show as:

Rebellious Fudo Nomura has no idea what he’s getting into when he’s transferred to a school where the girls carry weapons to appropriately “discipline” the boys into submission. In the Private Aichi Symbiosis Academy, Nomura’s life is actively in danger when he becomes the target of Rin Onigawara, leader of the Five Ruling Swords, the five-girl group that commands the school. His only option: get expelled from the only school that would take him, or survive the wrath of these Machiavellian girls!
