Christmas cakes and sushi – the perfect… combination? Wait…
Earlier today, Neko Works started streaming a teaser trailer for their upcoming Nekopara Extra OVA. The 90-second trailer features shots of the title in action, as theme song Symphony plays as a background track.
The Nekopara Extra OVA will be released on Valve Corporation’s Steam marketplace on July 27.
Nekopara Extra is based on Neko Works’ Nekopara Extra ~The Kittens’ First Promise visual novel, which also launches on July 27. Both projects were funded via Kickstarter through a project by Sekai Project, which aimed to produce a Nekopara OVA. The two releases were stretch goals for the campaign, which raised more than $1 million via standard funding and slacker backers.

A prequel to the very popular NEKOPARA series, NEKOPARA Extra takes us inside the Minaduki household when Chocola and Vanilla first arrive.
After being taken in by Kashou and his little sister, Shigure, the young kittens, Chocola and Vanilla find it difficult to fit in. Despite the warm welcome the other Minaduki catgirls give to them, they act with trepidation as they adjust to the pace of the family.As they slowly interact with their fellow sister catgirls, Chocola and Vanilla begin to open up more and it’s here we see Kashou’s kindness towards them that builds up their feelings towards him.
