Why yes, this is a report about another little sister light novel series with a ridiculously long and hard to remember title. Your point?
The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of author Seiji Ebisu’s light novel series Ore ga Suki nano wa Imouto dakedo Imouto ja Nai (The One I Love is My Little Sister But She’s Not a Little Sister) has released the first promotional video for the series which reveals the main story behind the series.
If you can’t understand Japanese, the main idea behind this clip is that the brother, Yuu, is told by Suzuka that she’s won the grand prize in a light novel contest with an entry that is a love comedy between an older brother and his younger sister. The anime series is set to premiere this October with theme songs by Purely Monster and Junjou no Afilia.
The crew for this series is locked in with Hiroyuki Furukawa as director and character designer while Yuichiro Momose will be handling the series composition. The animation will be produced jointly by NAZ and Magia Doraglier. The main roles of Suzuka and Yuu will be performed by Reina Kondo and Tasuku Hatanaka respectively.
The light novel series first debuted in August 2016 and has four volumes in print as of this writing.
