Bakutsuri Bar Hunter Anime Gets New Trailer, Visual, & Theme Songs


So, what is a bar hunter, anyway?

Earlier today, the official Bakutsuri Bar Hunter anime website updated with a new trailer and visual, as well as details on the show’s premiere and theme songs.

We break the details down below.

Trailer

The 30-second promo features a brief look at the show in action, as lead character Totta Tachitsute narrates. Opening theme song Bakutsuri Soul plays as a background track.

Key Visual

The image features the main characters, plus their “bar soul” partners posing in front of a dark background lined with barcodes.

Theme Songs

SymaG will perform opening theme song Bakutsuri Soul, while Mikako Komatsu performs closing theme Yūjō ZABOOOON!! (Friendship ZABOOOON!!).

Premiere

Bakutsuri Bar Hunter will air on TV Tokyo and its affiliates starting October 2, at 17:55 (10/2/2018 at 5:55 PM JST).

Kenji Seto (The Asterisk War, Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles) will direct the title at Toei Animation, with Akemi Yokota (Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V) providing character designs. Yoichi Kato (Aikatsu!, Monster Strike the Animation) is in charge of series composition, while Takatsugu Wakabayashi scores the soundtrack.

The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Totta Ritsute: Ryou Hirohashi
  • Potepen: Yumi Uchiyama
  • Shuwajirō: Kouta Nemoto
  • Kiba Samejima: Mitsuki Saiga

Bakutsuri Bar Hunter is a multimedia franchise from Toei, Bandai, and Shogakukan. The project includes the upcoming anime, as well as a toy line, a manga, and a video game.
