“Assassin’s Pride” Light Novels Get Anime Adaptation

Earlier today, light novel fans gathered at the “Fujimi Fantasia Bunko Big Thanksgiving Day 2018” fan event. During the show, it was announced that Kei Amagi and illustrator Nino Ninomoto’s Assassin’s Pride will get an anime adaptation. As of press time, no further details have been announced.

Kei Amagi and illustrator Nino Ninomoto’s Assassin’s Pride launched in 2016 under Fujimi Shobo’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. Eight volumes of the series have shipped to stores to date, with the latest hitting retailers on August 18.

Amagi and illustrator Yoshie Katō kicked off a manga adaptation of the work in the pages of Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine in May 2017. Two volumes have been released to date, with the latest shipping to retailers April 19.

In the world where only the aristocrats have the power to fight the monster – mana, a youth named Kufa is dispatched as a tutor to find Mareida’s talent, a nuisance girl born in a duke’s family. If she is not talented, assassinate her. – that, is the dark side of his task…
