Mairimashita! Iruma-kun Gets Anime TV series


The latest issue of Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine (Issue 10, 2019) announced that Osamu Nishi’s Mairimashita! Iruma-kun manga will get an anime TV series. As of press time, no further details have been announced, though Comic Natalie published the magazine’s teaser visual.

Osamu Nishi’s Mairimashita! Iruma-kun launched in the pages of Weekly Shonen Champion in March 2017. Nine volumes have shipped to date, with the volume 10 slated to hit Japanese bookstores on February 9. Mangaresource Baka-Updates describes the title as:

Suzuki Iruma has just been abandoned and sold to a demon by his irresponsible parents! Surprisingly, the next thing he knows he’s living with the demon who has adopted him as his new grandson, and has been transferred into a school in the demon world where his new “demon” grandfather works as the principal. Thus begins the cowardly Iruma-kun’s extraordinary school life among the otherworldly as he faces his true self, takes on challenges, and rises to become someone great…
