Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? Anime Gets Key Visual, 4 Cast Members, Staffers, & Theme Song Artist

Earlier today, the official Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? (Why the hell are you here, Teacher!?) anime website updated with a new key visual, as well as four cast members attached to the project. We break the details down below.

Staff

The team of Yūki Takabayashi (Love Rice) and Yuri Fujimaru will cooperate on scripts, while Gin (BUSTED ROSE) scores the soundtrack. Other confirmed crew members include:

  • Sound Director: Hiroto Morishita
  • Color Design: Koichi Furukawa
  • Composite Director: Yoshikazu Miyagawa
  • Sound Effects: Shota Yaso (Swara Pro)

The series will add the following:

  • Hikari Hazakura: Shizuka Ishigami
  • Takashi Takahashi: Nozomi Yamamoto
  • Chizuru Tachibana: Kazutomi Yamamoto
  • Kō Tanaka: Yūsuke Kobayashi

Theme Songs

Sumire Uesaka will perform opening theme song Bon Kyu— Bon wa Kare no Mono. Uesaka announced the news earlier today during her “Sumire Uesaka no No Future Diary 2019” concert tour.

Nande Koko ni Sensei ga Anime Visual Hiraku Kaneko (Maken-Ki! Battling Venus 2, Tsuredure Children) will serve as chief director on the project, while Toshikatsu Tokoro (The Highschool Life of a Fudanshi, Hunter X Hunter: G I Final) directs at Tear Studio. Kazuhiko Tamura (Kiss Him, Not Me, Ri-Ne) will provide character designs for the title. The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Ichirō Satō: Ryōta Suzuki
  • Kana Kojima: Sumire Uesaka
  • Rin Suzuki: Toshiki Masuda
  • Mayu Matsukaze: Yuko Goto

Soborou’s Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? manga launched in the pages of Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine in 2016. The series currently spans five compiled volumes, with the latest hitting stores on October 5.
