One of my favorite horror anime of all time is Hell Girl. The first anime season premiered in 2005 and has since received three additional anime seasons, a manga adaptation, a live-action TV series and now, at long last, a live-action movie and today we got to see our first key visuals and a trailer!
Though only 38 seconds long, the trailer does an excellent job of highlighting the tone and giving fans what they want in the form of Ai Enma’s trademark catchphrase. The film will star Tina Tamashiro as the title character and Manami Hashimoto, Raiku, and Akaji Maro as her assistants. Meanwhile, Koji Shiraishi will serve as director and writer.
The movie is set to premiere in Japanese theaters on November 15.
