World End Economica Anime Kickstarter Reaches Its Funding Goal


World End Economica Novel Trilogy VisualEarlier today, SpicyTails’ Kickstarter to produce an anime project based on World End Economica reached its funding goal. As of press time, the campaign stands at $47,527 across 252 backers, with an average contribution of $188.59 per backer.

The campaign is ongoing, and slated to run through January 4, 2020 at 2:00AM EST (1/3/2020 at 11:00PM PST).

World End Economica is a three-part visual novel series by SpicyTails, which were written by Spice and Wolf author Isuna Hasekura. All three titles were released in North America via Sekai Project, with the first title hitting Steam on June 17, 2014.

Sekai Project describes the title as:

A three part visual novel set in the far future on the moon, 16 years after humans have begun to colonize it. A young boy named Haru has been chasing his wildest dream. His dream is to stand where no man has stood before, and in order to do so he needs capital, a ludicrous amount of capital. What better place to get that amount of capital by using the stock market? There are two key rules that govern the stock market.

The first rule: Never take a loss.
The second rule: Never forget the first.

Only those who follow these rules are able to obtain enormous wealth…
