NHK hopes that this one will be truly radiant for its viewers.

Earlier today, NHK started streaming an English-subtitled trailer for the Radiant anime TV series. The 30-second trailer highlights the plot, and introduces major staffers attached to the project.

Radiant will air in October, on NHK’s Educational channel. The title was first announced in French regions on January 24.

Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats!, Assassination Classroom) will helm the project at Lerche, with Makoto Uezu (Assassination Classroom Season 2, KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!!) taking charge of series composition. Daiki Fukuoka (Yuki Yuna is A Hero Season 2, Danganronpa 3) is credited as Series Director.

Masato Koda will compose the show’s soundtrack.

Ankama began publishing Tony Valente’s Radiant comic in July 2013. To date, eight volumes have been released, with the most recent shipping to stores in December 2017.
