Demon Slayer & One-Punch Man Season 2 Hit Toonami On 10/12/2019
Earlier today, Toonami took to Facebook to announce that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and One-Punch Man season 2 will hit their block on October 12. As of press time, premiere times have yet to be announced.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba aired in the Spring 2019 broadcast season.
Haruo Sotozaki (Tales of Symphonia the Animation, Tales of Zestiria the X) directed Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba at ufotable, with Akira Matsushima (Maria Watches Over Us, Tales of Zestiria the X) providing character designs.
Aniplex of America holds the rights to the title and describes it as:
It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself.
Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.
One-Punch Man Season 2
One-Punch Man‘s second season aired in the Spring 2019 broadcast season.
Chikara Sakurai (Magimoji Rurumo) was tapped to direct One-Punch Man 2 at J.C. Staff, replacing Madhouse’s Shingo Natsume. Chikashi Kubota (Robotics;Notes, FLCL 2) returned to provide character designs, while Tomohiro Suzuki (Tiger & Bunny, ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.) reprised their role on series composition. Makoto Miyazaki returned to score the soundtrack.
Viz Media holds the rights to the show, which they describe as:
