Earlier today, Avex Pictures began streaming a promotional video for Noragami‘s second season on their YouTube channel. The 90-second trailer uses scenes from Adachitoka’s manga to tease the content being adapted.
The new Noragami season will adapt the Bishamon arc.
Fuji TV is currently re-airing the show’s first season, and a Blu-Ray box is slated to hit retailers on September 25.
The second season of Noragami was announced in the pages of Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine this March. The publication confirmed that Bones would again work on the production, and that the original cast and staff would return to the series.
The confirmed cast is as follows:

- Hiyori Iki: Maaya Uchida
- Yukine: Yuuki Kaji
- Bishamon: Miyuki Sawashiro
- Kazuma: Jun Fukuyama
- Kofuku: Aki Toyosaki
- Daikoku: Daisuke Ono
- Tenjin: Toru Ohkawa
- Mayu: Asami Imai
- Nora: Rie Kugimiya
Kotaro Tamura will return to direct, with Deko Akao handling series composition and Toshihiro Kawamoto on character designs.
FUNimation currently holds the North American rights to Noragami‘s first season. On April 18, the company revealed the cast for the show’s English dub, which will be featured on the DVD and Blu-Ray releases that hit stores July 7.
