Earlier today, FUNimation announced that the English dub for Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ will make its world première at Anime Expo. The screening will be held on July 2, at 8:00PM (Pacific) at the Regal LA LIVE Stadium 14.

The Anime Expo showing is just over a month before the general theatrical release for Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’, which kicks off on August 4. The film is planned to run through August 12.

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ originally opened in Japan on April 18. The film, which was shown on 658 screens across the nation, brought in a total of 960,586,350 yen ($7,785,005.26 USD) in ticket sales. At the time, it was the biggest film début in the nation, and the strongest opening for any Dragon Ball Z feature.

The film earned in 40.3% more revenue, and roughly 27.4% more ticket sales than its predecessor, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods.

In March, FUNimation announced that they licensed the film for North American distribution.
